Counselling for Young People

COUNSELLING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

YPI provides up to 6 sessions of free counselling to 11-25 year olds, offering a confidential and safe space for young people to talk to a professional counsellor about their worries, concerns and difficulties. We can support a wide range of areas such as self-esteem, anxiety, depression, school or family issues, stress and relationships. Our aim is to equip young people with tools and strategies to increase their mental and emotional health.

What is Counselling?

Counselling provides a safe space for you to talk about what’s on your mind and about any difficulties you may be facing. The Counsellor will help you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a friendly and non-judgemental way. Counselling can help you to build an internal ‘toolbox’ of awareness, understanding and strategies to support your future mental health and emotional well-being.
