Take on Your Own Fundraising Challenge for YPI Counselling

At YPI Counselling, we’re constantly inspired by the incredible creativity and determination of our supporters. Every pound raised helps us continue to provide vital mental health support to young people and families in our community — and what better way to make a difference than by taking on your own personal challenge?

From bike rides and ultra-marathons to mountain climbs and long-distance hikes, we’ve seen fundraisers push themselves to new limits in the name of mental health. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just looking to try something new, your efforts — big or small — have a real and lasting impact on the lives of the young people we support.

And don’t worry — we’re not asking anyone to trek to the North Pole (unless you really want to!). Your challenge can be as ambitious or as accessible as you like:

  • 🚴‍♀️ Cycle for Change: Plan a scenic bike ride or take on a cycling event. Every mile helps raise awareness and funds for mental health support.
  • 🏃 Run for Resilience: Sign up for a local 5K, half marathon, or even an ultra-marathon — and dedicate your race to supporting young people’s wellbeing.
  • 🏔️ Climb for Confidence: Scale a peak, hike a mountain trail, or complete a hill-walking challenge in the great outdoors.
  • 🌳 Create Your Own Challenge: Walk a certain distance every day, give up something for a month, or host a fitness event with friends — your imagination is the limit!

By fundraising for YPI Counselling, you’re helping us continue to deliver free and low-cost counselling services to those who need it most. Every step, pedal, and climb helps us reach more young people who are struggling — giving them the tools and support to face life’s challenges.

So, lace up those trainers, dust off your bike, or dig out your walking boots — your challenge could change lives.
